TCS to Offer 25,000 Jobs to Fresh Graduates in Current Financial Year

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT services company, has announced that it will offer approximately 25,000 jobs to fresh graduates in the current financial year.

This marks a significant decline compared to the 44,000 freshers hired in FY2026, one of the highest hiring figures in the private sector in India during that year.

According to PTI reports, the company’s CEO and Managing Director K. Krithivasan confirmed the figures and indicated that further hiring will depend on future demand conditions.

He stated that campus hiring expansion will be considered only if demand improves in the coming months.

Despite the reduced numbers, TCS has not completely closed hiring opportunities, and additional recruitment may take place based on market conditions.

For several years, TCS consistently hired over 40,000 fresh graduates annually, making this year's decline a notable deviation from its usual hiring trend.
