Finance Management Institute to Be Established in Noronha Academy, Bhopal
In a cabinet meeting held on April 7 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, several important proposals were approved, covering sectors such as education, agriculture, infrastructure, and financial management.
To strengthen financial management in the state, the government has decided to establish a Financial Training and Research Institute (FTRI).
The institute will be set up within the campus of RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management in Bhopal.
This institute will assist in budget analysis, financial research, and monitoring of government schemes.
As part of this reform, seven existing accounting training schools in the state will be gradually merged to create a unified state-level training system.
The institute will provide training in financial management to government officers and employees.
It will also be developed in collaboration with reputed institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
The estimated cost for the establishment and operation of the institute over three years (2026–27, 2027–28, and 2028–29) is approximately ₹26 crore.
