Congratulations to PM Narendra Modi on Receiving FAO Agricola Medal
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi receiving the FAO Agricola Medal, the highest honor of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), in Rome, Italy on May 20, is a global recognition of the positive transformation in farmers’ lives, enhancement of food security, and agricultural development.
Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Modi has been awarded this prestigious honor for his historic contributions toward increasing agricultural productivity, ensuring food security, promoting farmer welfare, and giving global recognition to “Shree Anna” (Millets).
Due to the efforts of Prime Minister Modi, the popularity and usage of millets have significantly increased not only in India but also in several other countries around the world.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav further stated that India is continuously setting new benchmarks in farmer welfare, agricultural innovation, and self-reliance in food production.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the prestigious FAO honor to millions of Indian farmers, livestock rearers, fishermen, and agricultural scientists.
